As quintet leader Kenny Kotwitz states, “Art led the way and defined the use of accordion in Jazz, the unique sound of Art’s quintet is easily recognizable with the special gifts of his accordian along with the vibraphone, guitar, bass and drums and Lou Skalinder’s arrangements. Our CD is a collection of ballads and standards and our salute to Art and the quintet.
